Student Testimonials

  • "I've been exploring business for the past year and this single workshop clarified almost every confusion I've had as a liberal arts student. I feel so much more prepared to go into the workforce now. And I've never seen people so engaged in a workshop, people were actually paying attention."

    —Isabel C., Wellesley College Junior

  • "As a liberal arts student that hasn’t even take an economics course, I found the BEcamp workshop to be both very engaging and informative. I learned more than I thought I could and I feel very confident talking about and explaining what I learned. Also, it was very fun and low pressure and catered to the different learning styles of students."

    -Askar A., Bowdoin College Sophomore

  • "BEcamp brought out the best in me. Before BEcamp, I could sit in a class without uttering a single word for a full semester. But at BEcamp, I learned to cast away that side of me. I am still learning and growing thanks to BEcamp, and this is something that I will be forever grateful for."

    —Anonymous, Colby College Junior

  • "I really enjoyed how eloquently Mike spoke and how clear all of the information was presented. I greatly enjoyed how easy it was to understand all of these concepts that I thought were confusing and the interactive activities he planned were very helpful."

    —Amber M., Wellesley College Sophomore

  • "I learned so much from the program. It really expanded my understanding of business and entrepreneurship, going beyond just the basics. Plus, it sparked my interest in some career fields I hadn’t considered before. I especially enjoyed the activities that required you to take risks and get out of your comfort zone."

    —Anonymous, Colby College First-Year

  • "Mike is an incredibly engaging speaker. He taught complex concepts in a digestible way that built out my understanding substantially in a short time."

    -Anonymous, Bowdoin College Sophomore

  • “I loved the activities and being able to think like a real business professional. It was fun and interactive and the addition of some money really raised the stakes, just like real life.”

    —Yuneydy P., Wellesley College Senior

  • "Today, during a call with my family, I found myself confidently explaining what I’ve been building this summer and in that moment, I realized just how much BEcamp has impacted me in such a short time. Hearing my family praise me for speaking up, sharing bold ideas, and taking risks made me truly appreciate how BEcamp helped shape those qualities."

On-Campus Workshops

BEcamp partners with top colleges & universities to offer engaging, experiential workshops delivered on your campus by expert BEcamp facilitators. We generally work with Career Development teams, specialized Business & Entrepreneurship Centers, and other Co-Curricular teams.

Our flagship “Business Bootcamp” workshops are offered in 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day formats (including on weekends and school breaks). School partners can build customized programs that meet their unique needs by choosing from a comprehensive menu of 10 1-hour Modules:

Core Concepts | Product | Marketing | Sales | Finance | Business Strategy & Consulting | Entrepreneurship | Communication | Teamwork | Career Journey

Each Module features a combination of lecture & fun hands-on activities that enable students to immediately apply what they’re learning and “try on” different business careers. The 3-day workshop format includes a capstone ”Buildathon” where students work in teams to build out and pitch a real startup concept in a single day.

Mike was a true partner and did an excellent job delivering an immersive, engaging, and challenging workshop for our students. BEcamp helped our students gain foundational skills across a broad range of business concepts and highlighted career paths beyond finance and consulting. As a facilitator, Mike expertly dissected core business concepts and terminology while weaving in topical examples all our students could easily engage with.
